Coeur de Neufchate is a cheese in heart shape perfect for Valentine’s Day. This cheese is made from cow’s milk, origin in France from a village of Neufchâtel-en-Bray in northern Normandy. It contains a fat content of 45%. Giving you a crumbly texture, the aroma and taste of mushrooms also with a salty taste.


Coeur de Neufchatel has a romantic background story that can bring the Valentine’s celebration another level. In the 6th century, lovesick French farm maidens gave cheeses in shape of hearts as an expression of their love to the fighting soldiers during the Hundred Year War.


Feel free to eat it on a French baguette with or without a drizzle of honey and pair it up with white wine or Champagne.
